Germán Berterame Suspended After Ejection in Rayados vs. Juárez: How Many Games Will He Miss?

Juárez striker Germán Berterame was sent off in his team's 1-1 draw against Monterrey on Friday night.

The 24-year-old was shown a red card in the 89th minute for a reckless challenge on Monterrey's César Montes.

It was Berterame's second red card of the season, and he will now miss Juárez's next two matches.

Berterame has been one of Juárez's most important players this season, scoring seven goals in 17 appearances.

His suspension is a big blow for the team, who are currently in 12th place in the Liga MX standings.

Juárez will face Pumas UNAM and Necaxa in their next two matches.

More about the incident

The incident occurred in the 89th minute of the match, when Berterame attempted to tackle Montes from behind.

However, Berterame's tackle was mistimed, and he caught Montes on the back of the leg.

The referee immediately showed Berterame a red card, and he was sent off.

Disciplinary Committee's decision

The Disciplinary Committee of the Mexican Football Federation (FMF) has suspended Berterame for two matches.

This means that Berterame will miss Juárez's next two matches against Pumas UNAM and Necaxa.

Berterame will be eligible to return to action for Juárez's match against Cruz Azul on March 5th.
