Thirty years on from his death while leading the 1994 San Marino GP at Imola, the almost
Ayrton Senna is widely regarded as one of the greatest Formula 1 drivers of all time. The Brazilian won three world championships and 41 races during his career, and is still revered by fans around the world.
This weekend, the Silverstone Festival will celebrate Senna's career with a display of some of the cars he drove during his time in Formula 1.
The display will include the McLaren MP4/4, which Senna drove to his first world championship in 1988. The car was one of the most dominant in Formula 1 history, winning 15 of the 16 races that season.
Also on display will be the Williams FW14B, which Senna drove to his second world championship in 1990. The car was another dominant force in Formula 1, winning six of the first seven races of the season.
In addition to the cars, the Silverstone Festival will also feature a number of other exhibits посвященные Сенне, including a display of his helmets and racing suits.
